Arkansas Police Olympic Games 2010

Dates for the games this year are from May 31, 2010 to June 5, 2010.

Bowling, David Defoore is the contact for this event.

Softball Tournament,  June 2, 2010, Sherwood softball complex, Team Captains/Manager needs to be at the complex with roster and entry fee by 07:30 AM. The entire board are the contacts for this event Mike Blain is President. Please Pre-register on-line.

Basketball Tournament, June 3, 2010, Sherwood, Bill Harmon Req. Center.  Registration as soon as the doors open or at 08:00 AM on the side walk outside the Req. Center until the doors open.  Team Captains need to be at the Center by 08:00 AM with roster and entry fee in hand.  Mike Blain and David White are the contacts for this event.  Please Pre-register on-line.

Golf Tournament, Jimmy White Memorial Golf Tornament, June 4, 2010 AM Flight, start at 08:30, registration start 07:30 AM, Food will be on-site by 11:30, Registration for PM Flight start at 10:00 AM.  As soon as lunch, prizes, and door prizes have been awarded PM Flight will go off.  Please stay around after lunch you must be on-site to pick up your door prize.  Mike Blain and David Adams are the contacts for this event. Shooting,  June 5, 2010,

     There will be a four man team event again.  This will entail a sniper, assault rifle, shotgun, and pistol shooter.  The event will be similar to the previous team events.  The sniper distance will be slightly further and the rest of the weapons will be fired from about the same distance.  The overall course will be further and there will be a down man carry at the end to close the event.  (probably a pole) 

     The pistol shoot will be silimar to the ALETA qualification course with a little more off hand shooting and a couple rounds from the 50 yard line.

     The tactical speed shoot will be several targets in the open and in the shoot house.  Each target will be engaged with two (2) rounds.  The course will be run for time with time added to overall time for misses.  There will be a seperate course for those still carrying wheel guns.

     I will also have a sniper course set up but will not hold this event if there are less than four (4) shooters sign up.

2010 Spring Bass Tournement Greer’s Ferry, Devel’s Fork Landing

BASS TOURNAMEN

Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Greer’s Ferry, Devel’s Fork Landing.    Check-in and boat inspection will be at 5:00 a.m. at Devel’s Fork Landing and the tournament will start at first safe light and weigh in will be at 2:30 p.m.  Event cost is $50.00 per person and Big Bass pot extra $10.00 per person.   The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will be in charge of the weigh in.

 2010 Bass Tournament Rules and Regulations

 

 

  1. SAFETY IS A FIRST
  2. All local State and Federal Boating laws apply
  3. All local State and Federal Game and Fish laws apply
  4. Any UNSAFE act is grounds for disqualification
  5. Any violation of State Laws or tournament rules is grounds for disqualification
  6. 5 FISH LIMIT. Length of fish will be discussed day of tournament
  7. Each person must wear a LIFE JACKET  while main engine is running
  8. Live wells will be checked BEFORE YOU LAUNCH YOUR BOAT
  9. Unless otherwise posted all boats will start at the same ramp
  10. All protest must be in writing and giving to the tournament director within 15 minutes of final weigh in.
  11. Tournament director will be announcing start /launch time and finish time.
  12. Upon checking in, before you launch your boat, you must get a numbered poker chip for your boat.  YOU MUST have this numbered poker chip turned in before the final weigh in, time to be discussed at the time of launch. 
  13. Tournament directors time is the official time
  14. ALCOHOL WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
  15. Only artificial lures will be allowed (pork trailers strips are allowed)
  16. Penalties: DEAD fish one pound weight penalty  ILLEGAL fish 1 pound
  17. Every effort will be made to ensure all boats are accounted for Point of contact for each boat must be left at launch sight
  18. All fishing must be conducted from your boat
  19. Waters that can be reached by your boat from main fishing area are allowed to be fished
