We had a total of 27 boats, and 51 fishermen, and one beautiful day to be on the water. Thank you to all the competitors and the people that allowed them to compete and represent their individual departments.
2012 Police Olympic Games Summer Games
Bowling Tournament will be on June 5th at the old Maumelle Bowling Center, now named Millennium Bowl, 7200 Counts Massie Blvd. at 6:00 PM. 4 person teams, 3 game tournament highest score wins. If you want your average to count you must show your card. Other than you having an up to date card you will be assigned an average based on your gender. That average will be determined the night of the tournament. It will be one average score for ladies and one average score for men if you do not have an up to date card. The teams will be made up of four people at $10.00 per person.
Softball Tournament will be on June 6th at the Sherwood Softball complex. Team Captains register teams by the date prior to the event, each person must have a photo ID that shows them to be a part of the law enforcement community. The cost of the event is $10.00 per person. each person must have a numbered jersey.
Basketball Tournament will be on June 7th at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center. Team Captains register teams by the date prior to the event. Each player must have valid Law enforcement ID in order to play in tournament. The cost of the event is $10.00 per person, each team member must have a numbered jersy.
Golf Tournament will be on June 8th at Pine Valley Golf Course. There will be an AM flight which will begin at 8:30 a.m. and a PM flight which will begin at 1:00 p.m. Lunch will be provided which will begin at 11:30 a.m. the cost of the event is $40.00 per person.
Shooting event will be on June 9th at the Pulaski Count Sherriff’s shooting range, which is located on Hwy 365 and Dulin Road in Little Rock. A couple of handgun event and at least one long gun event. Each even is $10.00 per person.
Eligibility
All participants must be:
- Full time, part time, or retired law enforcemant officers
- Corrections officers
- Commissioned auxilary law enforcement officers
- Military police
- Full time, part time or volunteer fire department personnel
- Emergency medical personnel
All participants must be prepared to show identification to verify their eligibility.
