RELEASE OF LIABILITY FORM

For and in consideration for the granting of permission to participate(s) in the 2010 Arkansas Police Olympics, the undersigned hereby releases any and all persons or organizations connected with or attending the 2009 Arkansas Police Olympics games or events from any liability for damages arising out of injury of any sort or nature suffered by the undersigned by reasons of his/her participation in any event or activity of the games.

Purpose of the Games

The objective of the Arkansas Police Olympics is to encourage and promote a closer bond among law enforcement Officers of all types throughout the state of Arkansas through athletic competition and fellowship.  Furthermore, the games hope to promote a high standard of physical and mental well being among those officers while providing a positive image of law enforcement to the citizens of Arkansas.

ELIGIBILITY

All participants must be full time, part time, or retired law enforcement, corrections, commissioned auxiliary law enforcement officers, military police, full time, part time or volunteer fire department personnel or Emergency medical personnel.  All participants must be prepared to show identification to verify their eligibility.

 Entry Fees

All fees should be paid by the time of the event.

Awards

Individual awards are won in accordance to age, and if applicable, weight divisions.  Awards will be for 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd place only.  Team events are the same.
